Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data STETMAN ENGENEERING LLC (“Stetman Engineering”, “we”, “us”) processes when you visit stetman.engineering, contact us, or use our apps; why we process it; and what rights you have. We apply the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, for people in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its equivalents.
1. Who we are
The data controller is STETMAN ENGENEERING LLC (ТОВ «СТЕТМАН ІНЖИНІРІНГ»), company code (EDRPOU) 43530294, registered at 10 Mykoly Mikhnovskoho Blvd, Kyiv 01103, Ukraine.

2. Summary
- The website has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising or cookies.
- We never sell personal data or share it for advertising.
- Payments in our apps are handled by Apple. We never see your card details.
- You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data.
3. Data we process
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider processes technical data that every browser sends — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the request — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These server logs are kept for a short period set by the provider and are not used to identify you.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
The website does not use cookies, local storage, tracking pixels or analytics.
When you email us
We receive your email address, your name if you include it, the content of your message and any attachments. We use this only to answer you and resolve your request.
When you use our apps
Our apps process only the data they need for the features you use, and keep it on your device wherever possible. Each app’s App Store page shows its privacy details (“App Privacy”), and each released app has its own section in part 4 of this policy describing exactly what it processes.
- Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms. We receive only anonymous sales reports and, for subscriptions, the transaction status needed to unlock paid features.
- Crash reports and usage statistics reach us only if you have chosen to share them with app developers in your device settings. Apple provides this data to us in aggregated form.
- Device permissions such as camera, photos, location, notifications or contacts are requested only when a feature needs them. You can withdraw any permission in your device settings.
- Support requests sent from an app are handled as described under “When you email us”.
4. App-specific information
No apps are available on the App Store yet. Before an app is released, we add a section here describing the data it processes, where that data is stored, which third-party services the app uses, and how to delete the data.
5. Why we process data and on what legal basis
- Delivering and securing the website — our legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); Art. 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”).
- Answering your messages — your request and our legitimate interest in responding (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Providing app features and paid content — performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Optional features that rely on permissions — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Accounting, tax and other legal duties — our legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
Providing personal data is voluntary. Without it, we may not be able to reply to you or offer certain app features. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
6. Who receives data
We share data only with service providers we need to operate, and only to the extent they need it:
- our website hosting provider;
- our email provider;
- Apple, as the App Store operator and payment processor;
- Google, for font delivery as described above;
- public authorities, when the law requires it.
We require our providers to protect personal data at a level consistent with this policy and to use it only on our instructions or under their own published privacy terms.
7. International transfers
Some providers process data outside Ukraine, including in the EU and the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on adequacy decisions, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent safeguards offered by the provider.
8. How long we keep data
- Emails and support requests: up to 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
- App data stored on our servers, if any: until you delete it or your account, and then within 30 days.
- Data stored only on your device: until you delete it or the app.
- Records we must keep by law, such as accounting records: for the period the law requires.
9. Your rights
Under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to:
- find out whether we process your data and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before;
- complain to a supervisory authority — in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman.gov.ua); in the EU, the data protection authority where you live or work.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@stetman.engineering. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
10. Children
Our website and apps are not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age for consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to personal data to people who need it, and collect only what we need. No system is completely secure, so we will inform you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.
12. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how an app handles your data, we will also tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
